Anatoly Grodsky was a lieutenant within the Russian Army.

Grodsky was contacted by Michael Vaughn to inform him about an explosive created in the country, called Black Thorine. Anatoly was wary when he gave the information to Michael because he stated that Russia has strict laws when it comes to giving clasified information.
Upon finding out that Anatoly was selling secrets to the CIA, soldiers were sent to the cafe he and Michael were meeting at. Anatoly tried to kill the soldiers, but he was shot in the chest before he could fire his gun.
